Keeping that thing on me....

Have you noticed I have not done a post on the movie Sinners yet? I probably won't since errybody and dey mama is talking about it. But I will reference it from time to time... Like in this post!

In the movie though... once the living was clear on what they were dealing with... Annie does a bone divination before she moves. When she did that, I screamed, "My girl!" Do you know why? Because it's important to keep that thing on you!

I keep a form of divination on me at all times. I think all people that exist close to veil should. All practitioners should have some form of divination. I actually think that divination is the first thing person should learn once deciding on following a spiritual path. It is important to be able to get yes and no answers from the spirit realm. How would you know which working to conduct? How would you know if your offerings were accepted? How would you know which spiritual item is right for you? Knowing how to divine is not just for doing client readings.

Example: I was on my way to give an offering... It was night, and it was a location that I regularly use for said purpose. My spirits kept troubling me. I pulled over, reached into my purse, and pulled out my shells. I asked if I still needed to give my offering. Answer yes. My next question was should I give the offering at the usual location. Answer No. Okay. So I asked about a few other locations. All yes. So there had to be a reason why they were keeping me from my original location. I gave my offering at one of the other locations. Well, the next day I went passed the original location to go the gas station. Guess what? Nothing but yellow tape all over. Turn out a murder had been committed in area.

There are so many ways to get answers. It's not just cards and bones. You can use water, fire, dice, onions, dowsing rods, tea/coffee, shells, cigars, etc. Find what feels good to you and work it until you feel completely comfortable. I will warn you... divination is quite addictive for some. I've known people who can't dress themselves without doing divination first. Don't be that person.

Another thing... don't keep throwing until you get the answer you're looking for. If you already know what you want the answer to be, just do it. Do it once, get your answer and move on. If you decide to go against a reading, be prepared to be punished.
