Do you think you are ready?

I just saw Sinners. Excellent movie btw. I've been online looking at all the reviews and responses. Since there was a Hoodoo in the movie who was beloved, it has folks all excited about practicing. Folks talking about it's in their blood. Well.... that very well may be true. But you have to officially learn how to walk this path. Basketball is in Bronnie's blood, but he still has to train.

I give classes. I've mentioned that before. I also have an inconsistent online presence. I need you to know this is not a plug for my classes. But I mean.... There is a ton of information online. I'm not saying all of it is wrong. But a lot of it is. And for newbie dabblers, you won't be able to tell the difference. If you want to walk the path of root and conjure, you need to learn from a reputable source. A source that you can put your hands on. Not some internet rando with sketchy wifi.

Also, you will need to learn from an individual that has some skin in the game. Not someone brand new. That's just the blind leading the blind. What I don't want for anyone is to try some shyt that ends up blowing their entire spot up with no back up. That's dangerous. Am I saying that you can't learn from the internet? No, not saying that at all. But I will say it's hard to have the proper discernment without experience and/or an elder in this practice. It's like looking at a recipe in a magazine. If you don't know how to cook, you can't look at a recipe and see it's faults. You'd have to go the labor of making it to find out that it's a BS recipe.

Another thing I will say is on this site and in my social media posts... I will NEVER share true work. I share peripheral workings. This is because I am concerned about folk's safety. It would be hella irresponsible for me to share something that might injure another. That's like posting a video on how to make crack cocaine. If you need something, contact me. Come in my shop. We will talk. Then I can tell you what you're actually wanting. And if I can't help you, I'm big enough to say that and forward you to another who can help you. I'm an adult. I'm aware that I'm not good at everything (anyone who tells you they are, is a damn lie). But I also engage in community and know other practitioners that I have vetted.
